Global warming and pollution is an international emergency affecting our daily lives. Our way of life not only affects us but has an enormous impact on our natural habitats and wildlife. Staggering Statistics from National geographic reports show an estimated 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in the ocean. 269,000 tons of plastic waste alone floats upon the surface ocean. Alternative materials are emerging with a reduced impact upon the planet.

As designers it is important that we embrace new technologies such as circular design and emerging materials to help push design towards a more sustainable future. Sting is a range of sustainable lighting solutions inspired by jelly fish. Designed with sustainable materials, including recycled waste plastic and recycled glass.
