A R T I S T   S T A T E M E N T

All of my projects are unique, none of them have the same style, colours or materials. I try to explore as many options as possible before deciding on a route to take my 
design work. Since I have started my masters I intend to put a lot more thought into the less thought about areas of an interior space such as lighting circulation. My intent is to produce interiors accessible to all types of audiences, using lighting and colour theory as my vehicle for exercising the elements of design which allure people by employing an easy aesthetic to understand. I try to explore different combinations of elements and colour in which emotions can be expressed within a space.  Having a passion for interior design, I produce work that raises the awareness of the aesthetic in each space. 
Because colours and lighting can have a physical affect on us, I believe interiors should be able to change the atmosphere and experience of a person who is engaged in it.

B I O

Even before university I was passionate about design. During my time at school, 
product design and graphics stood out as one of my better subject areas, and as I often did drawings and sketch work in my spare time it only benefited me further by the time I got to university. The skills I learned here along with the opportunities and friends that I have met along the way has allowed me to develop into the person I am today. During my time at university I have been able to not only take part in, but also win competitions set by companies outside of university, travel across Europe to see galleries and exhibitions to get a real understanding of what inspiration is out there, who my competition is and where I can stand out from anyone else. I have also been able to obtain work 
experience through the university and have now been offered a job working for one of the competitions I had won in my third year which I will be starting full time once my studies have ended.

I aim to provide a service of the highest quality, I hope to create interiors that reflect 
client’s personalities and lifestyle along with ensuring that all colours, materials and 
lighting is considered. All work will be done in a professional manner and carried out until the chosen design is achieved.
